This is an interactive workshop where you will learn and participate in the honey extraction experience.

You will learn how our ancestors extracted honey and will find out the methods are very similar nowadays.

You will experience how to shave the wax layer off of the trays to reach the honey underneath. Then, extractor slots shake the honey out, leaving any leftover wax behind. The process is done with caution to preserve the hives, so the bees can rein habit them after.

The price per participant is $60 and you take with you 1 pound of your honey.
